A comparative study of life time models in the analysis of survival data.

Abstract: In this paper, an empirical comparison is made between two parametric models namely, Weibull and Log-normal and the semi-parametric Cox model in the analysis of survival data. The bone-marrow transplantation data is used for the comparison. The Lognormal model gave better fit than the other models in terms of deviance.
