Personal Statement

Swarna Deepa has over 20 years of technical experience in the IT sector. She completed her Bachelor’s degree from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore and Master’s degree from Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai. She has also completed a Mid-Career Management Development Program at IIM, Visakhapatnam. She played a key role in transitioning IT infrastructure/network/servers to in-house management, standardizing IT operations and training departmental staff. Before joining ICMR, she worked in the private sector for Vodafone, WellPoint, General Motors and US public sector (Texas Teacher Retirement System, New Mexico Public Employees Retirement Association), spanning across telecom, healthcare, manufacturing and retirement domains.
