Personal Statement
My research advances tuberculosis (TB) care focusing on immunodiagnostics, cellular immune responses, and host-directed therapies. I explore TB treatment monitoring markers, new immune cells, immunotherapies, immunometabolomics, and vaccine research to improve patient outcomes. Committed to translating mechanistic discoveries into clinical solutions, I aim to optimize global health strategies against this persistent pathogen and reduce the burden of tuberculosis worldwide.

• Awardee of Junior research fellowship from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India, a national level eligibility test held on June 2003 for pursuing my PhD (Selected to appear for Shyama Prasad Mukherjee fellowship examination for top 20% performance in NET exam).
• Received by the PhD student Ms. Sonali Agrawal working in my project who presented a poster in Immunocon 2017 (14-16 December 2017 at Ahmedabad), a part of my DRDE project work entitled “T cell associated biomarkers for monitoring treatment efficacy in Tuberculosis”.
